Cathy Welsh Named Director Emeritus of Blue Ridge Community College Foundation Board
Cathy served two six year terms on the BRCC Foundation Board, ending her term as Chair of the Board in 2018. On September 27, 2019, it was announced that the BRCC Foundation Board named her a director emeritus of the Board. The criteria used to determine this recognition include a demonstration of extraordinary service and generosity to Blue Ridge Community College and the BRCC Educational Foundation. In July 2019, Cathy was appointed by the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors to serve a four year term on the BRCC College Board.
