The Thomas Jefferson American Inn of Court, a professional legal organization for litigators whose purpose is to develop litigation skills and promote ethics and civility in the practice of law, invited Ashley to present on this topic at their February meeting.  Her presentation will focus on recent cases where attorneys were sanctioned for citing fake cases generated by ChatGPT, standing orders in various federal courts related to the use of AI tools, and what Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct may apply to these issues.
