Marc Peritz maintains a varied practice in several areas of civil litigation, devoting a substantial portion of his practice to insurance coverage litigation and counseling, trucking litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense litigation, employment litigation and other types of complex litigation and commercial matters. He has practiced extensively in many state and federal courts throughout Virginia and has also been involved in litigation in several other jurisdictions around the country.

Marc joined Flora Pettit in 2020 after spending over 20 years as a civil litigator with Morin & Barkley in Charlottesville, and before returning to Charlottesville he practiced at a law firm in Washington, D.C.  Following law school, Marc was privileged to serve as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James H. Michael, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia in Charlottesville.
