Sam Armstrong’s practice consists of a broad range of civil litigation matters with a focus on commercial disputes. His professional knowledge is complemented by the practical experience he acquired at the University of Virginia School of Law through participation in the William Minor Lile Moot Court Competition, the National Trial Advocacy College, and a variety of pro bono matters.
A native of Buena Vista, Sam received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Virginia University, where he served as Student Body Vice President and captain of the men’s basketball team. Before law school, Sam worked as Sports Information Director at Southern Virginia.
Sam and his wife, Carmel, live in Charlottesville with their two children, Bentley and Emmett. He is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoys running, live music, and crosswords.
