Lenhart Pettit Formed
Feil, Pettit & Williams and Lenhart Obenshain merged practices on January 1, 2014, creating a dynamic 26 lawyer law firm with offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, Virginia. The individual firms announced the merger publicly in September 2013 and completed both the legal legwork and physical move for the January 1st merger date. The new firm draws on the senior leadership and strong, experienced rosters of both firms in a broad range of business transactions, litigation, tax and estate planning. The growth in size was mutually appealing as it amplifies both firms’ capabilities. Lenhart Pettit’s Charlottesville-based attorneys are located on the Downtown Mall at 530 East Main Street in what was formerly the Feil, Pettit & Williams building. Lenhart Pettit’s Harrisonburg-based attorneys will remain at 90 North Main Street in Harrisonburg in the former Lenhart Obenshain office.
