Jennifer Shirkey Tapped to Dance for Charity
Lenhart Pettit has a strong tradition of giving back to the community. This fall, our own Jennifer Shirkey will be carrying on that tradition as one of seven local celebrity "stars" in the fifth annual Dancing with the Stars of the Burg competition. This premiere local fundraising event benefits Harrisonburg Rockingham Child Daycare Center (HRCDCC). HRCDCC is a nonprofit organization that has been providing care for children regardless of the family's financial resources since 1971. Jennifer has been matched with Carlos Coronado as her pro partner to dance the Paso Doble, and this year's show has a Broadway theme.
