Andrew Stockment Provides Legal Advice to Start Up Companies at CIC’s Business Resource Fair

On November 18, 2015, Andrew Stockment volunteered at the Community Investment Collaborative's Business Resource Fair to provide pro bono legal advice to entrepreneurs in the Charlottesville area, where he advised participants about various aspects of forming and operating businesses and protecting their intellectual property. The mission of Community Investment Collaborative (CIC) is to strengthen the Charlottesville community by fueling the success of under resourced entrepreneurs through education, mentoring, micro-lending, and networking. Andrew focuses his legal practice on business lawintellectual property and technology, and securities and private equity. He currently serves on the VBA Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Section Council and the VBA Law Practice Management Division Executive Council as the Young Lawyers Division Representative. Andrew is also a member of the Executive Committee of the VBA Young Lawyers Division.
