Andrew Stockment Elected to VSB Business Law Section Board of Governors
Andrew Stockment has been elected to the Board of Governors of the VSB Business Law Section. The Virginia State Bar was created in 1938 by the Virginia General Assembly as an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The Business Law Section is one of the oldest sections of the Virginia State Bar, and its members range from solo and small firm to large multi-national law firm practitioners, as well as in-house counsel. Judicial and student membership classes are also important section constituencies. Business Law Section membership practice areas runs the gamut from general business to niche specialists. The Business Law Section is known for its excellent continuing legal education programs and publications, including its Annual Advanced Business Law Conference.
