Andrew Stockment will present "Staying Safe on the Internet: Cybersecurity Basics" at the Albemarle County Rotary Clubmeeting on June 15, 2017. The presentation will include practical advice about steps individuals and businesses should take to protect themselves from the loss or theft of their sensitive information.

Andrew focuses his legal practice on intellectual property and technology, cybersecurity and data privacy, and corporate and business law. Andrew regularly counsels clients regarding data security and privacy issues and assists organizations with data breach notification compliance. He currently serves on the VBA Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Section Council and the VBA Board of Governors, and he is the Chair-Elect of the VBA Young Lawyers Division.
