COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY

Flora Pettit PC, an AV rated law firm is seeking a commercial real estate attorney to join its Real Estate, Finance & Development team in its Harrisonburg, Virginia office. Three or more years of commercial or residential real estate experience is preferred, but we would consider training a highly qualified candidate, including a recent law school graduate with a background in real estate transactions. We would also consider a candidate interested in a less than full-time position.

The most successful candidate will be licensed to practice in Virginia and have an interest and background in real estate law, including experience with real estate settlements, title matters, and drafting and negotiating real estate transactional documents (e.g., commercial leases, lease amendments, purchase and sale agreements, easements, covenants, financing documents, deeds, etc.). Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and be hard working, energetic and committed to the community.
